Although the highly anticipated PlayStation Classic retro games console has made it to the hands of many new YouTubers and gaming websites ahead of its official launch early next month. Sony has released an official PlayStation Classic unboxing video via the official PlayStation YouTube channel, providing a glimpse at what you can expect from the new retro games console, preloaded with 20 classic games.
The PlayStation Classic is now available to preorder priced at £90 or $99 and will be available both in online and high street retailers from December 3rd, 2018. Sony have loaded the miniature games console with 20 games designed for the original PlayStation One including Final Fantasy VII, TEKKEN 3, Ridge Racer Type 4, Jumping Flash!, Wild Arms and more.
“The design of PlayStation Classic perfectly mirrors the original console, with the same logo, button layout and packaging – but 45% smaller than 1994’s PlayStation. This miniature console comes complete with two wired controllers, an HDMI cable to connect to your TV, plus a virtual memory card to save your adventures as you switch between titles.”
