Digital Foundry has this week published a great hands-on demonstration of the new PlayStation 4 Remote Play PC and Mac providing a good look at what is involved to set it up and also the performance you can expect whilst playing games.
The new PlayStation 4 Remote Play support was rolled out earlier this month in the PlayStation 4 system software update 3.50 and provides the option to not just strain to a smartphone or PS Vita but also to your PC or Mac system.
Check out the demonstration below to see the new PlayStation 4 Remote Play feature in action and learn more about its features and benefits and whether it still has any small glitches that need to be ironed out by Sony.
Now the PS4 action never has to stop because someone else needs to use your TV. Jump straight into the action and continue playing epic single-player missions and intense online multiplayer modes on the crystal clear five-inch PS Vita screen anywhere on your home Wi-fi network. PS4 controls are automatically mapped to the PS Vita, PC and Mac systems, letting you seamlessly switch without missing a beat.
