There have been a number of reports over the last few days of some sort of possible issue with customers details from the OnePlus website. Some people who have purchased smartphones from the company have had problems with their credit cards.
A recent poll was posted by a OnePlus customer on their forums about the issue and 174 people responded and said that they had discovered fraudulent transactions on their cards after they had purchased something from the company’s website.
The company has now confirmed that they are looking into the issue and you can see their full official statement here.
“At OnePlus, we take information privacy extremely seriously. Over the weekend, members of the OnePlus community reported cases of unknown credit card transactions occurring on their credit cards post purchase from oneplus.net. We immediately began to investigate as a matter of urgency, and will keep you updated.”
