We previously heard rumors that there would be two versions of the new OnePlus 6 smartphone. Both devices will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. One handset will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the other will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
This has now been confirmed by OnePlus, the company’s CEO Peter Lau revealed on the OnePlus forums that their new flagship will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 and that it will come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Those were the only specifications Peter Lau revealed about the handset. We previously heard that the device would come with a 6.28 inch AMOLED display that will feature an FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.
The handset will come with three cameras, on the front there will be one 20 megapixel camera for selfies and on the back there will be two cameras. The rear cameras are made up of one 20 megapixel sensor and one 16 megapixel sensor. The handset will also come with a 3450 mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo.
We are expecting the new OnePlus 6 smartphone to be made official some time this month, as soon as we get some more details about the handset we will let you guys know.
