Best Buy will have some explaining to do to Olympus this week, after accidentally publishing details on the Best Buy website of the new Olympus TG-1 iHS Tough camera. The Olympus TG-1 iHS Tough camera once officially launched will be available to purchase for around $400, and features dual image stabilisation for clear, detailed images.
The Olympus TG-1 iHS Tough camera is also rugged enough to resist water, freeze, crush, shock and dust, together with enhanced durability all-round. Its equipped with a 12 megapixel 1/2.3″ CMOS image sensor, capable of capturing high-resolution images of up to 3968 x 2976 pixels, and comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery (Li90B).
As well as a 4 x optical, 4 x digital, 16 x total zoom, capture video in 1080p, 720p or VGA resolutions and has a 3 inch OLED display with 610K dots, and modes for portrait, landscape, night scene, night + portrait, indoor, self-portrait, sunset, fireworks, cuisine, beach & snow and more.
