Yesterday Oculus started taking preorders for their innovative and highly anticipated Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, revealing the price to the world for the first time at $599.
Rumours are now circulating that the day one stock of the Oculus Rift sold out in just 14 minutes, with first shipments expected to arrive with consumers during March 2016.
Preorders were kept open for the Oculus Rift but shipments were pushed back to April 2016. The pre-order event started at 08:00 PST, when it cleared displayed an expected shipping date March 2016, but apparently the campaign launched this date changed to April 2016 in just 14 minutes.
