A couple of new reports have surfaced on what we can expect from Nintendo’s new console. Rumor has it every console will come with a set of authentic deer antlers that you can glue to the sides of your TV. The more fanciful rumors even claim that Nintendo will be including 8 GB of flash storage in its new machine, and that it will feature a new disk format that can hold as much as 25 GB.
All joking aside, this set of rumors actually seems a lot more plausible than the ” touchscreen with buttons” speculation we’ve heard up until now. Not only would it match Nintendo’s history of behind the curve storage capacity, but there’s also mention of an SD slot, which matches Nintendo’s line so far even further. Another new feature would make rather interesting use of the fabled touchscreen controller in order to stream the game currently in progress to it for portable gaming jollies. It would reportedly only work in a limited range, but stick some 3G or better yet 4G in there and you’ve got your system seller, Nintendo.
