The original View-Master was created over 76 years ago and through its life-cycle has evolved into the latest version which now replaces the stereoscopic film images with Google Cardboard-based virtual reality.
As with the majority of the virtual reality headsets that are currently available to purchase for under $100 you use your Android smartphone to provide the power for the virtual reality processing. The new “reels” designed for the next generation View-Master are now used to unlock digital virtual reality content.
The design of the latest version of the iconic View-Master has been created to provide virtual field trips for children allowing them to explore famous places, landmarks, the solar system and the planets.
