Back in December we heard that Synpatics in display fingerprint scanner had entered production and now Vivo has shown off a new smartphone with the technology at CES.
This new Vivo smartphone is a prototype at the moment although the companion as said that the handset is ready to go into production.
The handset has a fingerprint scanner under the display, so there is no need for a home button, this sis something both Apple and Samsung were rumored to be working on in the past but both companies have apparently decided on other options like the iPhone X with its facial recognition.
The smartphone with the Vivo In Display Fingerprint Scanning technology can be unlocked by placing your finger on a specific part of the display.
