We saw the new Tesla Cybertruck earlier today, this is the company’s new electric pickup truck and it comes with a completely different design compared to many of the trucks available at the moment.
The new Tesla pickup truck will apparently be bulletproof and also have bulletproof glass. Now, we get to have a look at this futuristic truck in a new video from Marques Brownlee.
As we can see from the video, the Tesla Cybertruck comes with a very unique design and it definitely looks different from anything on the road or the market today.
Innovative Features and Specifications
The Tesla Cybertruck is not just about its striking appearance; it is packed with innovative features and impressive specifications. The truck’s exoskeleton is made from ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel, which provides superior strength and durability. This material is designed to withstand dents, damage, and long-term wear, making it one of the toughest vehicles available.
The Cybertruck also features Tesla Armor Glass, which is a polymer-layered composite designed to absorb and redirect impact force. This makes the glass incredibly strong and resistant to shattering, adding an extra layer of safety for the occupants.
Under the hood, the Cybertruck offers impressive performance metrics. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, which is remarkable for a vehicle of its size. The truck will be available in three different configurations: single motor rear-wheel drive, dual motor all-wheel drive, and tri-motor all-wheel drive. Each configuration offers different levels of performance, range, and towing capacity, catering to a variety of needs and preferences.
Practicality and Versatility
Beyond its futuristic design and robust build, the Tesla Cybertruck is also highly practical and versatile. It boasts a payload capacity of up to 3,500 pounds and a towing capacity of over 14,000 pounds, making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks. The truck bed, referred to as the “vault,” offers 100 cubic feet of lockable storage space, providing ample room for tools, equipment, and other cargo.
The Cybertruck also features an adaptive air suspension system, which allows the vehicle to raise or lower its height for improved off-road capability and easier loading and unloading. This system can adjust the suspension by up to four inches in either direction, enhancing the truck’s versatility across different terrains and conditions.
Inside the cabin, the Cybertruck offers a minimalist yet functional design. The interior is spacious and can comfortably seat up to six passengers. The dashboard features a 17-inch touchscreen display, which serves as the central hub for controlling various vehicle functions and accessing Tesla’s suite of software features, including navigation, entertainment, and Autopilot.
There will be a number of different models available when it launches in 2021, and prices will start at $39,000. This entry-level price point makes the Cybertruck an attractive option for those looking to transition to an electric vehicle without breaking the bank.
