Microsoft has announced its latest Windows tablet, the Microsoft Surface Pro and we have all the details on this new device.
The new Microsoft Surface Pro features a choice of Intel Core processors which include the Intel Core m3, the Intel Core i5 and the Intel Core i7.
The new Surface Pro has been redesigned from the inside out to give people more performance and 50 percent more battery life than the Surface Pro 4. Everything has been streamlined and refined — from softer, rounded edges to cameras built to fade into the bezel. At just 8.5mm thin and starting at 1.69 pounds4 the new Surface Pro is lighter than the bag it will be carried in, and packs the power of a 7th generation Intel® Core™ processor into a new fanless,5 whisper-quiet design.
The new Surface Pro Signature Type Cover delivers a high-quality scissor mechanism and 1.3 mm of key travel for faster and more accurate typing. A full-size glass trackpad with five-finger multi-touch capabilities allows for ultimate precision, and the entire keyboard is wrapped in soft yet durable Alcantara® material, creating a comfortable palm rest and beautiful aesthetic.
It also comes with a 12.34 inch PixelSense display and a choice of between 4GB and 16GB of RAM, there are also a choice of storage option up to a 1TB SSD, plus a detachable keyboard.
Prices for the new Surface pro start at $799 for the Intel Core m3 model and the top Intel Core i7 version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will set you back $2,699.
