Audi introduced their new Q7 at the Detroit Motor Show in January and now it looks like the company has a high performance version of their luxury SUV in the works, the Audi Q7 RS.
Whilst the new Audi Q7 RS has not officially been confirmed, Top Gear have learned from an insider that this new high performance Q7 will probably wear the ‘RS’ badge.
As yet there is no confirmation on what engine will be inside the new Audi Q7 RS, although it is possible that Audi could choose a diesel engine for their high performance SUV rather than a petrol engine.
If Audi does go for a petrol engine then the company could possibly use something similar to the twin turbo 4.2 litre engine that is used in the Audi RS6 which comes with a 0 to 62 MPH time of just 3.9 seconds and 560HP.
As well as a high performance engine, we can expect the new Q7 RS to come with RS styling with larger bumpers front and back, larger wheels and more.
As soon as we get some more information on exactly what Audi has planned for their Audi Q7 RS we will let you guys know.
