Last week we heard a rumor that Apple had decided to postpone the launch of their new Apple TV device, the gadget was previously rumored to be unveiled at WWDC 2015.
Apple has apparently delayed the announcement for their new Apple TV as the hardware is apparently not ready for release.
The company is expected to release a new Apple TV some time later in the year and the device is rumored to come with apps and games and a new Apple TV SDK to allow developers to create apps for the platform.
We wonder if Apple will show off their new Apple TV SDK at their WWDC Keynote event later today, or whether they will wait until the hardware is launched.
As well as apps and games the update Apple TV is rumored to come with a new remote which features a built in track pad.
We are expecting to at least hear something relating to the Apple TV at the event as the device will be used for Apple’s HomeKit, this was confirmed by Apple’s website last week. As soon as we get some more details on the next generation Apple TV, we will let you guys know.
