Apple released their new iOS 8.4 earlier this week which included their new Apple Music streaming service.
Prior to the release of iOS 8.4 Music was supported in Apple’s Home Sharing, the latest software update has now removed this feature.
The Music Home Sharing feature is no longer available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch but the feature is still available om the Mac and on the Apple TV.
The reason the Apple has removed Music Home Sharing on iOS devices is probably something to do with the licensing on Apple Music.
It is not clear as yet on whether Apple will bring the feature back to iOS devices in the future, as users who do not use Apple Music, would want to share their own Music via Home Sharing as they have done in the past.
