The FCC is a great source for details on new gadgets that are coming ahead of the launch. The latest tidbit to surface for the FCC testing labs is a bit of info on a Xoom tablet that is coming with network hardware inside that will work on the AT&T network.
The tablet has the identifier IHDT56ME1. The image you see here has the capabilities on it, and if you know the Xoom the only thing different here is the WCDMA 850/1900 network capability and GSM 850/1900.
That is where the AT&T network lives. It could have been T-Mobile too I guess, but T-Mo is about to come to the AT&T dark side. There is no word on pricing or availability, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it land soon.
