Last year, Motorola unveiled the extremely affordable Moto E. The handset came with an extremely affordable price tag, and possibly better specifications than its competition for its segment.
Now, it seems Motorola is working on the successor of the Moto E. Some images of the second generation Moto E made their way on to the internet, showing a device running Android 5.0 Lollipop.
This is not the Moto G or any other Motorola device. If you take a closer look, there’s no camera flash on the back of the device, hinting at an extremely affordable device. Plus, the screen size of the device is slightly smaller than the Moto G, giving more credence to the possibility of the device being the new Moto E.
The details about what it may bring at the table are a little scarce at the moment, but if it’s real, we may get to see more details about the alleged device in the coming weeks. As for the launch, there’s a possibility that it may see the light of the day at the Mobile World Congress in March, an event where many top smartphone manufacturers are expected to unveil their flagship devices.
