I think for most of us the time each day when we can most appreciate what folks with visual impairments go through is early in the morning when it’s dark and the alarm clock goes off. We all fumble about trying to find the button to turn it off without being able to see.
Moshi has a cool new alarm clock called the Voice Control Digital Clock Radio that you don’t have to fumble for buttons on. All you need to do is use your voice. You can tell the clock to turn off the alarm and it will. You can even set the time using your voice.
The clock has two alarms, three AM and three FM presets, and has a snooze control. You can tell the clock to snooze rather than having to hit a button. The clock has a digital AM/FM tuner and can play music from an iPod with a line-in cable that is included. The clock is available now for $69.99.
