Yesterday we heard that some details on the new iPhone 8 were discovered in the firmware for the new Apple HomePod speaker.
Now the firmware has revealed some more details about the HomePod speaker and some of its hardware.
One the top of the HomePod there will be an LED Matrix rather than just a couple of large LEDs, this would allow for the display of shaped and synbols.
So the #HomePod probably has a screen like this. If it’s the right density could easily show basic things like temperature & weather icons pic.twitter.com/l5f16EkddV

We heard previously that the HomePod would come with an Apple A8 processor and 1GB of RAM, the device will come with Apple’s Siri built in.
Apple are launching their new HomePod in December and it will cost $349. When the device was announced, Apple focused on its music and sound capabilities rather than its smart speaker features.
