DJIT has created a wireless DJ fader called the Mixfader, that they have launched over on Kickstarter this week, with the aim of raising €50,000 to help take their idea go in to production.
Mixfader has been designed to easily connect to your smartphone or tablet and allow you to perfect your mixing and scratching techniques, whatever your level, say its creators.
Mixfader support both Android and iOS tablets and smartphones and connects to them using Bluetooth technology automatically. Watch the video below to learn more.
“Mixfader is the first connected object for DJs. It allows you to perfect all mixing techniques, in particular scratching, which requires a certain manual dexterity, difficult to reproduce on a tactile surface. Mixfader can be connected wirelessly to an application that computerizes your vinyl turntable and brings together all the essential elements for mixing your music. Mixfader allows you to make perfect transitions and to scratch like a pro.
Thanks to an application available for iOS and Android, Mixfader allows you to mix your music. All you have to do with Mixfader is move back and forth to pass from one piece of music to another, cut or even create new rhythmic sounds. With Mixfader, there is no limit to your creativity!”
Mixfader is now available with pledges starting from just €49 over on Kickstarter via the link below.
