Yesterday Microsoft launched their new Windows Phone Dev Center, which had a complete redesign int an attempt to make it more user friendly for developers.
Now it looks like Microsoft will be re-branding their Windows Phone Marketplace, as details of the new name has appeared a number of time in the new Windows Phone Dev Center, and it will be called the Windows Phone Store.
The new Windows Phone Dev Center has everything you need to create great apps and add them to the Windows Phone Store for the world to see, try, and buy. You can start creating apps anytime. When you’re ready to offer them in the Store, you’ll need a subscription to the Dev Center where you can start the process of adding them to the Store catalog.
Microsoft has yet to officially announce the new Windows Phone Store, obviously they are making all these changes before the launch of Windows Phone 8.
