There’s no shortage of cloud storage services on the internet, and Mega App is one of those ones, touted as a secure cloud storage service that offers free 50GB cloud storage.
Recently, Mega app for iOS received an update, bumping it to v1.1, and introduced aseveral new features and bug fixes, including PhotoSync, that give iPhone users the ability to backup their photos automatically to MEGA and can be done via WiFi or cellular connection. Mega app continue to run in the backgroun, and automatically backs up the photos you capture with your camera.
Additionally, it adds an extra layer of security to the application, by enabling passcode lock support to prevent unauthorized use of the application. Once enabled, users will be asked to key in the four-digit password every time the app is launched.

With PhotoSync, the photos you take with your iPhone will be automatically backed up to MEGA.
You can use WiFi or cellular connection and by enabling Background mode the app will upload photos when your location changes significantly.Passcode lock adds a new layer of security by requiring a four-digit passcode to be entered every time the app is launched. This will protect your files even if your iPhone falls into the wrong hands. There’s also an option to erase all data and logout if the wrong password is entered over 10 times.
Various bug fixes and speed improvements.
