Yesterday Microsoft revealed the first details about their new unified platform for PCs, smartphones and tablets, Windows 10, and now we have some more information on the software.
Microsoft has confirmed that the Lumia Camera app will be the default camera application on Windows 10 devices.
The Lumia Camera app was recently released in the latest Lumia Denim update for Lumia devices, and now all Windows 10 devices will use the app as the default camera app, and now just Microsoft Lumia handsets.
So if you decide to buy a Microsoft Lumia device, or a Windows 10 device from the likes of HTC or Samsung, the camera application will be the same and will come with all of the same features, of course the image quality will vary by device.
Microsoft is looking to unify their new Windows 10 experience across all devices from all manufacturers, so no matter which manufacturers device you buy, you should get a very similar experience.
