Atellani has this week launched a new Kickstarter campaign looking to raise $80,000 to take their innovative Lock-Rs Bluetooth lock into production.

The Lock-Rs is being marketed as the world’s first multi-user universal locking system and allows you to open the padlock without the need for any keys or codes. Watch the video below to learn more about how this is possible using the Bluetooth lock.
Atellani explains a little more about the inspiration and design behind their innovative Bluetooth locker lock.

“Lock-Rs is a universal locking system for your digital and physical belongings that also allows you to protect and share experiences, and memories with the people you care about the most.

Lock-Rs is a magnetic lock. No keys or codes are needed to open it. Thanks to the anodized titanium shackle it is even stronger! Secure your possessions without keys or codes! You can easily open the lock by placing it close to the bracelet, it’s that simple!

get access to your digital possessions by placing the bracelet close to your smartphone! Lock-Rs will also protect your notes, video, pictures, pdfs. Lock-rs also gives you access to your Mac: All you need to do is place the bracelet near your MAC, which will automatically unlock and lock it when you’re not nearby. No need to keep entering your password manually over and over again!”

For more information on the new Bluetooth lock jump over to the Kickstarter website for details where you can make a pledge from just $34 to be one of the very first to own one.
