LG will be showing off a number of new devices at CES 2013 next week, and they have now released a teaser video. It would appear that one of the devices that will be announced is the new LG Optimus G2.
The LG Optimus G2 is rumored to feature a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display and a quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor. Have a look at the video below; you get a brief look at the device around 0.17 seconds in.
Expected Features and Specifications
The LG Optimus G2 is anticipated to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Optimus G. The 5-inch Full HD 1080p display is expected to offer stunning visuals, making it ideal for multimedia consumption, gaming, and productivity tasks. The quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor should provide ample power for multitasking and running demanding applications smoothly.
In addition to the impressive display and processor, the Optimus G2 is likely to come with other high-end features. These may include a high-resolution camera, possibly in the range of 13 to 16 megapixels, which would be capable of capturing detailed photos and videos. The device might also feature advanced connectivity options such as 4G LTE, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0, ensuring fast data transfer and seamless connectivity with other devices.
Software and User Experience
On the software front, the LG Optimus G2 is expected to run on the latest version of Android, possibly Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, at the time of its release. LG is known for adding its custom user interface on top of Android, which includes unique features and enhancements to improve the user experience. Some of these features might include gesture controls, customizable home screens, and advanced multitasking capabilities.
The device is also likely to come with a range of pre-installed applications and services designed to enhance productivity and entertainment. For example, LG’s QuickMemo app allows users to take notes and draw on the screen, while QSlide enables multitasking by allowing users to run multiple apps simultaneously in resizable windows.
