When the LG G4 was announced there was nothing mentioned about the handset supporting Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
The LG G4 comes with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor which can support the Quick Charge 2.0 technology and now it looks like the G4 has this feature.
Qualcomm has now listed the LG G4 on their website and have confirmed that the G4 comes with the Quick Charge 2.0 feature.
The guys over at Pocket Now tested out the quick charging technology on the G4 and were able to confirm that the technology is present in the device. They charged a fully discharged LG G4 smartphone to 16% in just 12 minutes and charged the device to 19% in just 25 minutes.
What is interesting is that the charger that comes with the LG G4 is not Quick Charge compatible, but if you pair the handset with a compatible charger the feature will work.
