We previously heard rumors that LG would be switching to premium materials for their new LG G4 smartphone and the handset would come with a metal casing.
Now according to a recent report, the LG G4 will not have a metal casing after all, although the new LG G4 Note may have a metal casing.
LG had previously planned to use metal casing on their new LG G4 and G4 Note handsets, but the company is apparently not ready to switch to metal casing production for the launch of the G4.
The LG G4 is rumored to come with a 5.6 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the handset is said to feature an Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
Other rumored specifications on the new LG G4 include 3GB of RAM and a choice of storage options, the device will also come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android Lollipop.
The new G4 smartphone is also said to come with a fingerprint scanner and the device will feature an updated 16 megapixel camera on the back of the device which will have OIS and LG’s Laser Auto Focus.
As yet there are no details on when LG plans to launch their new flagship Android smartphone, as soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
