Not too long ago, LG posted a teaser on their Twitter account that Android 5.0 Lollipop is “coming soon” for the LG G3, and it seems the time has arrived, at least for some.
It seems the Korean company has commenced the Android 5.0 roll out process, at least for the folks who are residing in Italy — yes, LG G3 is getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update in Italy.
Now that it has started, we’re hopeful that it will reach other European countries in the coming weeks, there’s no word from LG about the exact details for different countries.
Android 5.0 Lollipop updates brings plethora of new features on board, such as the all new Material design which introduces fluid animations and better visuals, ART runtime, improved lock screen notifications allowing you to manage them from the lock screen, new multi tasking interface, performance improvements and lots more.
If you’re residing in Italy, make sure to check the notifications on your LG G3, and see if the update has arrived. Alternatively, you can manually check for it from Settings as well. We’ll update you as soon as LG starts rolling out the update for other regions.
