LG has announced the global launch of their new flexible display smartphone, the LG G Flex, the handset will launch in Singapore this week and Hong Kong next week, and will be launch in other countries later this month.
LG previously announced that the LG G Flex would launch in the US and Europe in December, as yet they have not give a specific launch date for either region.
LG Electronics (LG) is introducing LG G Flex, the world’s first curved flexing smartphone, to the global market starting in Singapore and Hong Kong this week. Key markets in Asia will also announce the availability of this innovative device before the end of the year, soon to be followed by other regions.
The handset comes with a 6 inch vertically curved flexible display that has a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device also comes with a 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Other specifications on the LG G Flex include a 13 megapixel rear facing camera for photos and video, plus a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video calls, the device also feature NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The LG G Flex will go on sale in Singapore on the 8th of December and in Hong Kong on the 13th of December, as soon as we get some official date for the launch of the handset in Europe and the US we will let you guys know.
