Anybody wishing to learn to code or learn more about robotics may be interested in a new Kickstarter campaign for the mimicArm artificial intelligent robot created by Brett Pipitone. The robot arm has been specifically created to provide an easy to program robotic arm that provides immediate results using an intuitive AI programming software. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the mimicArm robotic arm and its design.
mimicArm has been designed to offer an easy to build programmable robot, created to interact with humans using its artificial intelligence. As with any learning project the possibilities of the robotic arm expand as the user gains knowledge and experience programming the robot. “Thanks to our intuitive manual mode children as young as five are able to use mimicArm immediately. Never programmed before? No problem! When you’re ready, our simple yet powerful programming software gradually eases you into programming concepts and our pre-programmed experiments start simple to guide you every step of the way.”
The mimicArm Robot is now available via Kickstarter with earlybird pledges available from $120 or £86. “The experiments incrementally increase in complexity until you’re able to program using genuine C code just like the professionals. Want to pick up delicate objects without breaking them? mimicArm can do that. Want to record and playback a dance? mimicArm can do that. Need a shop assistant to hold your soldering iron? mimicArm can do that too. Add our available accessories and even more possibilities emerge.” For more details and full specifications as well as a list of all available pledges jump over to the official Kickstarter campaign page by following the link below.
