Earlier this year, Microsoft added a handful of new hardware partners for Windows Phone devices, which also included some Indian OEMs as well.
Not too long ago, Micromax launched two budget-friendly Windows Phone devices, and now Lava has also launched its first Windows Phone 8.1 handset dubbed as Xolo WIN Q900s.
The handset comes with a budget-friendly price tag, and even offers a very decent set of specifications — even better than those offered by the Nokia Lumia 630. The handset rocks a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and comes with a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM on board.
Users also get 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot of up to 32GB, as well as an 8MP camera for photos and videos. There’s also a 2MP front-facing camera. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, a 1,800 mAh battery, and runs Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system.
The handset comes with a INR 9,999 pre-order price for the first 5,000 units. Afterwards, its price will rise to Rs 11,999, and is only available at Snapdeal.com. As for its availability, it’s expected to launch in the second week of July.
