Now that digital eBook readers are everyday devices and apps, Amazon has launched a new software application called Amazon Convert that can be loaded on to PC computers running Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 operating systems.
Enabling users to transform physical paper books into Kindle eBooks. The Amazon Convert application has been created to enable you to transform scans of your personal printed books and documents into Kindle eBook’s.
The Convert software also allows you to preserve anything that you may have added to your book that might make it unique, such as autographs, images or handwritten notes.
Once the physical paper book has been converted into a Kindle eBook, you can then be read it on all Kindle devices and free Kindle reading apps, that are available for iOS and Android platforms. Your converted book is also then held securely in Amazons Cloud Drive storage facility making sure that it’s always there ready for you to download and read when required. Amazon explains a little more:
