Kim Dotcom launched his new file sharing service Mega the other day, and announced that they had reached 500,000 users in around 14 hours, and now he has announced that Mega now has more than 1 million users in the first 24 hours.
Doctom has also said that his new site Mega has been build from the ground up, and contains nothing which was included in his previous Megaupload site, which was shut down by the US government.
Kim Dotcom is currently facing prosecution from the US government, and is fighting extradition to the US, in what looks to be a long drawn out process. It looks like his new site is off to a good start, and it will be interesting to see how many users it has within the next few months.
