Over the years we’ve featured a number of electronic projects which have been built all compressed to fit into Altoids tin. But one industrious developer and hacker named “Shank” has been able to take a Nintendo Wii games console uses actual Wii hardware and software not an emulator.
The KillMii features a two inch Display capable of providing users with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and is equipped with a rechargeable LiPo battery a custom board and is cooled by 35mm fan.
The awesome games console hack, might not be the most practical as Shank explained that the pocket console gets a little hot during use and is only capable of sustaining 10 minutes of gameplay at a time with users having to manage with hard to use controls. With all those small distractions aside the project is still pretty awesome in my eyes.
“In case you’re wondering, the original Nintendo Wii measures 8.5″ x 6.2″ x 1.7″ while an Altoids Tin is about 3.8″ x 2.4″ x 0.8””
