This year Apple launched their latest MacBook laptop which is now slimmer and lighter than ever before, and available to purchase in a range of different finishes to match those of the companies iPhone and iPad devices.
To be able to make the new MacBook so slim Apple has needed to redesign the port configurations on their systems, and now provides just one USB Type-C. To help expand this KADi Creative have designed a new MacBook hub.
“The KADi Port’s minimalist approach to design has one goal; to assist those who use a Macbook, giving them only the ports they need, not every one available.
When was the last time you used 4 USB’s at once? Or even 2? And with an abundance of mini display port adapters already available, why waste space by having an HDMI port AND a VGA port. With a lot of technologies not having USB-C capabilities yet, KADi Port is bridging the gap while the rest of the world catches up, so you don’t have to sacrifice being able to charge your laptop and phone simultaneously.”
The KADi MacBook hub project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to manufacture.
So if you think KADi is something your new MacBook could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge from just $29 and help the KADi MacBook hub become a reality.
