Anyone in the market for a powerful electric skateboard may be interested in the new IvoryBoard Mk II which is this month launched via Kickstarter and has already raised its required pledge goal with still 19 days remaining on its campaign. Check out the video below to learn more about the second generation IvoryBoard electric skateboard which includes a number of great features including any deck compatibility, swappable wheels, seamless four-wheel-drive integration, replaceable batteries and more.
“The Mk II motor kit is built around in-wheel hub motor technology. Our hub motors give the kit its sleek look and removability while still delivering 2000W of power to the ground each to give the Mk II’s remarkable performance. The compact design also allows for our boards to free-wheel like a standard longboard without significant resistance. We build all our boards to a high standard to ensure that all our customers get the most out of the motor kits. Our assembly process includes rigorous quality control systems and we use the highest quality materials practically obtainable. The kits are made modular so that in the case of a breakdown, they can be quickly and efficiently repaired by replacing specific parts rather than being fully replaced each time. “
Pledges are available from AU$849 or roughly £478 fro the IvoryBoard Mk II electric skateboard which will start shipping out worldwide during July 2018 If all goes well with manufacture and production.
