At Computex this week iRobot the home robot, vacuum cleaner and mop specialist has unveiled their latest creations in the form of the Braava jet m6 mop and Roomba s9+ robot vacuum cleaner. The new robots are now capable of mapping your home layout to provide more efficient cleaning, as well as combining their efforts to work together simultaneously to keep your floors sparkling.
iRobot has fitted the Roomba s9+ with vSLAM technology, that uses an optical sensor to capture over 230,400 data points per second, enabling the robot to create an accurate map of your home so it knows where it is, where it’s been, and where it needs to clean.

“Clean up pet hair. Even empty their own bin. We’re ushering in a new era of clean: introducing the Roomba® s9+ robot vacuum—for corners, edges, and the details in between.” – “ Braava jet® m6 robot mop is our most advanced mopping robot and cleans like you would. The ultimate robot mop with Precision Jet Spray, Braava jet® m6 helps tackle sticky messes, grime, and kitchen grease with less effort from you.”
The Braava jet m6 mop is now available to purchase priced at $500 and is capable of connecting to your smartphone using a companion application and can be fitted with a mopping or sweeping pad depending on your needs. Precision Jet Spray loosens dirt and sticky messes without spraying furniture, rugs, or walls. “With Imprint Technology Braava jet m6 does more than just mop your home. It learns and adapts to determine the best way to clean. Since the Braava jet m6 robot mop knows your home, you can tell it exactly where to clean and when.”
