We have heard a number of rumors about the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones, yesterday we saw leaked casing for the iPhone 6S.
According to a recent report, the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will come with a new Qualcomm LTE modem that will provide double the download speeds of the current iPhones.
Both of Apple’s new iPhone 6S models will offer download speeds of up to 300 Mbps, the current iPhone models have maximum download speeds of 150 Mbps.
The new iPhones are expected to share the same design as the current models, the iPhone 6S is rumored to come with a 4.7 inch display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the 6S Plus is rumored to feature a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Both devices will come with Apple’s new A9 processor and the handset are also rumored to get more RAM than the current versions. For storage we are expecting the options to remain the same as the current models up to 128GB.
Apple is also expected to update the cameras in its new iPhones, the front facing FaceTime HD camera is said to support Full HD video in 1080p and the rear camera will apparently come with a 12 megapixel sensor. Apple are also expected to introduce Force Touch in their new iPhones and they will also come with an update fingerprint sensor which is said to be more accurate that the current version.
We are expecting Apple to launch its updated handsets in September and there have been rumors that there will be a fourth color option added to the range, Rose Gold to match the Apple Watch.
