We have already seen a video of a knife being taken to the new iPhone 6 sapphire glass display, the display performed really well against a knife and a set of keys in the previous video.
Now we have a new video, where the sapphire display of the iPhone 6 is put through some more rigorous tests, which include the display being attacked with a hammer and more, have a look at the video below.
It certainly looks like the new sapphire display is going to be a lot more tough than the current display on the iPhone 5S, this should mean that the screen is less prone to cracking and shattering if you accidentally drop your handset.
We are expecting Apple to launch two versions of the iPhone 6, one with a 4.7 inch display, the other with a 5.5 inch display, both handsets are said to come with a new Apple A8 64-bit mobile processor.
The iPhone 6 will also get a number of other upgrades, which will include improved graphics, more RAM, and updated cameras.
The two different sized versions of Apple’s new iPhone are said to feature different cameras, with the 5.5 inch model reported to get a higher end camera with Optical Image Stabilization.
We are expecting Apple’s next generation iPhone to launch in September, from what we have heard so far it will launch on the 19th of September, the device will apparently be announced at an Apple event, along with the new Apple iWatch on the 9th of September.
