We have been hearing more details about the next major release of Apple’s mobile OS over the last week, Apple iOS 9, the software is expected to be announced at WWDC 2015.
According to a new report from 9 to 5 Mac’s Mark Gurman, iOS 9 will offer optimization for older Apple devices like the iPhone 4S and the first iPad Mini.
iOS 9 will apparently be compatible with older Apple devices with the Apple A5 processor and above, so this means the iPhone 4S and the original iPad Mini will get the update.
This will apparently be done with a new core version of iOS 9 which will be compatible with older devices, but may not have all the iOS features as the latest devices.
We are expecting Apple to announce their next generation mobile OS at WWDC 2015 next month, we are also expecting them to release a beta of the software to developers.
