Intel has this week released more details about its new range of Intel NUC mini PCs that will be launching later this year. Revealing the new Intel NUC computer that will be equipped with Core i7 processes will also feature Intel Iris graphics.
The new Intel NUC5i7RYH mini PC will be the first member of the Intel NUC range to be equipped with such hardware and will sport a 28 watt Core i7-5557U processor supported by Intel Iris Graphics 6100.
Offering higher graphical performance when compared to the Intel HD 5500 graphics processors installed in other Broadwell-based NUC computers.
Other new features within the Intel NUC range include 4 x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort connections for multiple displays, as well as connectivity provided by Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
Internally the new Intel NUC BPC will also be equipped with space to install a 2.5 inch hard drive or solid state disk (SSD) and is also comes with support for up to 16GB of RAM, 7.1 channel audio, and NFC.
