With the arrival of the new iPad yesterday, Epic has wasted no time rolling out the next version of their Infinity Blade franchise, in the form of Infinity Blade: Dungeons.
The new Infinity Blade: Dungeons game will make the most of the new quad-core graphics of Apple’s new iPad provided by the tablets new dual core A5X processor, and the tablet new retina display. Watch the video after the jump to see Infinity Blade: Dungeons in action.
The Infinity Blade: Dungeons game takes place thousands of years before the first Infinity Blade, and now allows you to explore dungeon environments, as you probably guessed from the name. You explore the new environments as an apprentice weaponsmith on a quest to forge the Infinity Blade.
Infinity Blade: Dungeons is powered by Unreal engine and controls will be provides via touch gestures on screen. As you explore the new dungeons you will be able to collect materials and craft new weapons.
Infinity Blade: Dungeons is expected to be available when Apple’s new iPad arrives on the 16th, but no official date has been released as yet.
