Last week we heard that HTC has released the Android 8.0 Oreo update for their HTC 10 smartphone. The update was made available as an over the air update and also an an RUU download.
Now it would appear that HTC has pulled the update as the RUU has now been taken down. It would also appear that the OTA update did not reach anyone as many users have not received the OTA notification.
Some owners of the HTC 10 who installed the update manually reported some issues with the update. This includes problems with the battery on the handset and also some other issues.
These problems are probably why HTC decided to pull the update, although as yet there is no official word from HTC one why it was pulled. As soon as we get some more details on exactly when HTC will be releasing the update again, we will let you guys know.
