HTC CMO Ben Ho told a Taiwan based publication that HTC is planning to launch “a variant of its flagship One series in the fourth quarter” of this year. Which could indicate that the new highly anticipated HTC One Max smartphone could be launching before the year is out.
Earlier this week supposedly leaked images of the HTC One Max surfaced (pictured above) but were later called fake by a HTC employee. The new HTC One Max will be the first phablet device that HTC has created and is though will include a large screen than the current HTC One smartphone which is currently available.
According to a rumours and recent report, the new HTC One Max will feature a 5.9 inch Full HD display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by a quad core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, supported by 2GB of RAM.
The announcement follows on from the launch of a new $1 billion advertising and marketing campaign launched this week staring Robert Downey Jr, for a two-year contact to be HTC’s “Instigator of Change.”
