Not too long ago, HTC’s Mo Versi dropped the news that the company will roll out the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the HTC One M8 very soon. It will also incorporate the bug fixes introduced in the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update as well.
For those of you rocking the unlocked or developer edition of the HTC One M8, now might be a good time to check your device for an update. It seems HTC is rolling out the Android 4.4.3 update for the HTC One M8 in the US.
Users are reporting that the update is arriving on their devices. It’s not a very big update, but brings a handful of improvements and bug fixes for the device. The update is sized over 500MB so make sure you’re connected to a WiFi network if you don’t want to choke out your monthly data limit.
This is not the update we should be excited about, but the upcoming Android L update. HTC already announced that HTC One M8 will get the latest Android L update within 90 days of receiving the final software from Google.
HTC has been transparent when it comes updates from the past few months, and have released timely updates for its devices this year. We’re hoping HTC will continue to be quick when it comes to updates. In the meantime, check your device for the Android 4.4.3 update.
