Google Nexus 9

Google Nexus 9 launched last month, and is already available for sale in the United States. The tablet is also expected to make its way to India, but there’s no exact launch date available as we speak.

However, it seems the tablet may launch in India very soon. Google Nexus 9 was spotted on Zauba, an export/import tracking website in India, hinting at the imminent launch of the tablet in the region. Zauba listing reveals around 2,000 units of the Nexus 9 tablet made their way to the region.

The tablet is also listed on the Google Play Store India, starting at Rs. 28,900 for the 16GB WiFi model, but it doesn’t mentioned the exact availability date for the tablet. As for the LTE model, it comes with a slightly higher Rs 44,900 price tag.

Google Nexus 9 comes with a 8.9-inch display sporting a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, and is powered by a 64-bit Tegra K1 processor from Nvidia with a clock speed of 2.3GHz, and 2GB of RAM. The tablet also comes with 16/32GB of storage, 8MP rear camera for photos and videos, 1.6MP front-facing camera and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box.

We’ll update you as soon as the tablet is available in India.
