It looks like things are looking up for HTC as the company has announced its preliminary earnings for the first quarter of 2015 and has made a profit.
The company has announced an unaudited net profit if $11.6 million on revenue of $1.3 billion which is a change from the same time last year when the company made a loss.
In the first quarter of 2015 HTC had a net loss of $60 million in revenue of $1.06 billion, the company has managed to turn things around with their popular HTC One range of handsets.
The HTC One M8 was a popular device for the company and they have recently launched their HTC One M9 smartphone, which could end up being more popular than the previous device.
It will be interesting to see how HTC performs over the rest of 2015 and whether the new HTC One M9 can continue to increase the company’s revenue.
