We heard a while back that the new HTC Desire 601 would be headed to Virgin Mobile in the US, the handset is now available with the carrier, although they have called the handset the HTC Desire.
Virgin Mobile are offering the HTC Desire for $279.99, the handset is available with the carriers no contract plans, and it comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense.

The HTC Desire 601 features a 4.5 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, the handset is powered by a dual core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
Other specifications on the HTC Desire on Virgin Mobile include 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built in storage, should you need more storage the device features a microSD card slot with support for up to 64GB cards.
