On May 16th HP will be launching three new value monitors to its range the HP S2031, S2231 and S2331. The new HP S2031 pictured below, features a 20″ screen with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 1600 x 900 resolution, 250 nits brightness,VGA and HDCP-compliant DVI-D connections.
Its also fitted with only two lamp panels reducing electricity consumption and cost, compared to current four lamp monitors. The HP S2031 20″ display measures 14.59″ x 18.82″ x 7.09″
The HP S2231 and S2331 monitors are both 1080p, 1920 x 1080 in resolution with 300 nits of brightness. The HP S2231 21.5″ display measures 14.53″ x 20.38″ x 7.87″ and the HP S2331 23″ display measures 15.91″ x 21.58″ x 7.87″
All the new monitors have a 5ms response time and the HP S2031 is available to buy for $150, the HP S2231 for $190 and the HP S2331 for $220
