Honor has announced a new gaming smartphone, the Honor Play and the handset uses GPU Turbo technology for enhanced GPU performance.
The device is equipped with a 6.3 inch display that features a FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. There is a notch at the top of the handset as you can see from the pictures.
The device comes with a Kirin 970 processor and there is a choice of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The handset features high end cameras on the front and back.
On the front there is a 16 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back there is a dual camera setup. The dual rear cameras are made up of one 16 megapixel camera and one 2 megapixel camera. The device comes with Android 8.1 Oreo and EMUI 8.2 Pricing will start at 1999 Yuan, about $312 for the 4GB model and 2399 Yuan, about $375 for the 6GB model. The handset woll launch in China on the 11th of June.
