The Pebble Time smartwatch recently launched over on the Kickstarter crowdfunding website raising a massive $20,338,986 thanks to 78,471 backers.
Now Jason Hilbourne has created a new rubber silicon strap for the Pebble Time wearable device to provide users with a set of different features to that provided by the original strap.
Watch the video below to learn more about the design that offers a wider, ventilated, and waterproof strap for Pebble Time wearers.
“Have since the beginning. Two years ago, we designed WIDE BODY, the first silicone strap built specifically for the original Pebble. We launched it right here on Kickstarter. And last year, we introduced SHANK for Pebble Steel. Our simple goal with our watch straps was to make Pebble smart watches look great and work great. Now we’re doing it again with HAMMER.
HAMMER is wider. The HAMMER strap is 28 mm wide. Time’s stock straps are 22 mm wide. We were able to fit the wider HAMMER on Time by designing a couple of notches into our straps. We grew HAMMER wider so that it seems to extend directly from Time’s lugs. Rugged. Sport watch. Solid. Bad-ass. You’ll find your own way to describe it. HAMMER just makes your Time look great.”
The Hammer strap is currently over on Kickstarter looking to raise $10,000 in funding.
